This corse talks abuout nice ideas and makes us learn how we can plan lesson and activities.
But it didn’t serve its purpose. Course isn’t for the moms who know nothing how to make your kids read and write.
A kid can’t start writing just like that. I guess there are certain requirements to make him write e.g pencil hold, making a circle etc. And nothing is touched upon in this course. I still didn’t learn how I can I teach my kid to write.

This course is just about making kids cram the word from the book of the writer, taught using flash cards and eco reading. A child won’t be able to read a new word by himself. There’s no talking about phonics. Or blending or anything helpful for different books.

    • I’m so sorry that the course did not meet your expectations. Had you purchased the book and used it with your child the outcome would have been different, as the course description specifies. (“The parent is given step by step instructions on how to teach their child sight words using Islamic Sight Word Stories, Part 1*. Additionally, a free consultation is available to those who submit the assignment.*Course text not included; must purchase separately.)” In the same way that a teacher would teach a child to read using materials, the same is expected with the course. The lesson plans go with the book. Also, you did not avail of the free consultation that I offer. I have used the book many times to teach children how to read and can attest that it works. Feel free to reach out to me after you purchase the book, and I can assist you inshAllah.

Regarding phonics, this is a sight word book; that’s why it’s called Islamic Sight Word Stories, because it consists of stories with sight words. Sight words are words commonly seen/used words, and the book covers the beginning sight words. Phonics is different.
