Aisha Vicky Koolen obtained a Bachelor in Education and Special Educational Needs from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, where she worked as a teacher for many years at several schools.
In 2013, she studied Islamic Pedagogy at Toronto University and worked for the International Open University as Lesson Plan Islamisation coordinator from 2015-2017, among other things.
She is a qualified as a mindfulness coach and cognitive behavioural therapist and runs her own programs via http://www.thedatetree.co.uk
Aisha lives with her husband and four children in Manchester, U.K., she works part-time as a teacher of English at Iqra High School, and studies towards a Masters in psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University.
