Description

‘Pedagogy for Young Learners’ is a set of curriculum design and delivery principles aimed at creating an inclusive and accessible learning experience for students. It focuses on the development of innovative learning materials and activities that meet the individual learning needs of 3 -7 year old children. To achieve this goal, the course takes the following two approaches: (1) it discusses the methodologies already out there in the light of Islamic principles (2) it provides guidelines to parents and educators on designing their own learning path using innovative methods. This course will explore the recent advances in educational psychology and teaching methodologies through appropriate readings and through media construction exercises.

  • Understand the different teaching variation among learners in terms of their cognitive abilities and learning preferences.
