Description
As a religious counselor, Sheikh Alaa Elsayed works with Muslims daily on a host of family and marriage-related issues. He can hardly count the number of nights when he has not gone home after a session with tears in his eyes, wondering, “How could a brother do that to his wife,” or “How could a sister do that to her husband?” He has witnessed the tragic breakup of families, the unhealthy impact that such breakdown has on children (whose eyes inevitably flood with tears), the ruining of households, and the shattering of dreams. No matter where he goes in the world, the same issues between spouses arise repeatedly.
So, he has decided to respond to these ubiquitous afflictions that seem to affect so many households in our community by addressing them in a systematic way in this course. It is a discussion of all marriage-related issues and areas that he has come across in his years as a counselor.
How do you choose the right person to marry without knowing them prior to marriage? How will you determine if they are compatible with you? How do you deal with all the anxiety and stress that comes along with choosing your partner?
In short, this course guides you through the gargantuan task of finding yourself the right match and all the ingredients to a happy marriage.
