Wafaa Talha is pursuing a PhD in Islamic Sciences at IOU and has been a course facilitator with IOU for many years. She holds a Master of Arts in Islamic Studies from IOU, a bachelors in English literature and Psychology from Punjab University, Pakistan, a diploma in Computer science and diploma in Quran and Hadith. She also holds an ijazah in Hafs and sho’ba recitation. She is a teacher of Quran and Islamic Studies for the past 10 years and she is the founder of Wafaa Quran Institute, an online platform for teaching Quran and related sciences. She actively volunteers at various community events and she considers Dawah to be the best way to combat Islamophobia, hence her newly founded project is active Dawah.
